As we head into the brighter months, we’re buzzing with excitement for what’s ahead at Happycrew. Whether you’re a new parent joining us or a familiar face, here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening – and how we’re working closely with you every step of the way.

Parent Partnerships – We’re In It Together
We truly believe that the best outcomes for children come when parents and practitioners work hand-in-hand. From daily chats at drop-off, to updates on your child’s progress via our app, we’re always here to support and listen. If you're new to Happycrew, expect a warm welcome, open communication, and a space where your voice matters just as much as your child’s.
School Transitions – Let’s Take It Slow and Gentle
If your child is off to ‘big school’ this September (where has the time gone?!), we’ll be gently preparing them over the coming months. Once you've received your school place, let us know – and bring in their school jumper, book bag, or PE kit. We’ll use them in our role play and routines to help your little one feel familiar and confident about what’s to come.
Summer Term Fun – Sports Day & More
This term is packed with exciting activities like Sports Day, outdoor adventures, water play, and more. You’ll be invited to join in the fun, and trust us – there’s nothing better than seeing your little one take part in their first beanbag race or cheer on their friends. We have shared a date and time via the app.
Safeguarding – Going Above and Beyond
Keeping your children safe is at the heart of everything we do. All our staff have recently completed the Premium Page Introduction to Child Protection in Safeguarding training to further enhance our knowledge and practice.
Staff Training Day – 4th April
We’ll be holding an in-house training day on Friday 4th April to refresh our team’s knowledge and passion around:
Curriculum development
Safeguarding and best practice
Policy reviews and updates
Listening to staff feedback and making thoughtful adaptations
